If you are planning to embark on South India Tours in recent times, here’s good news. With the recent hike in road and air transport fares, accommodation has gone up considerably forcing the tourists this summer to dig deeper into their pockets. However, Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) with some of its affordable tourist packages have extended some relief for holiday makers.
Confining not only to South India Tour, IRCTC has extended to other tour packages including tours to Pune, North India tour, Char-Dham Yatra, Tirupati Yatra and Kullu Manali - Jammu Kashmir package among others.
To make it more precise, IRCTC is providing confirmed reservations. For example, a weekly Tirupati package tour can be reserved for only Rs 5,599. You will get AC III travel along with shared AC accommodation with loads of sightseeing and gorgeous food.
The South India Tour Packages would be costing nearly Rs 12,499 for sleeper class and Rs 18,399 for AC III-tier. The South India destinations would include Madurai, Kanyakumari Rameshwaram, Goa, Tirupati, and Thiruvananthapuram. The affordability factor of IRCTC packages would positively result in saving at least 50-75 per cent.
